These are my grades as of 5/01/05.
*Current grade is incorrect. Once the grade is corrected, term grade should be in the 3.89 range, and the cumulative for session 2 should be in the 3.95 range. (Technically, the final 2nd term GPA should be 4.0, as that is what was promised to me by my instructor, Theresa Barns. Of course, she was more wishy washy than John Kerry during election season. She finally decided to allow work that was late due to a birth in the family during the session. Then she decided not to accept it. Then she decided to accept it by a certain date. When I told her that I had the work finished, but that I had made a mistake on the presentation which I could not fix before leaving to Utah, she said she would take it anyway, that it was not an issue. When I received my final grade, she did not include the extra work which would have taken my GPA to a 4.0. Figures. This is still an issue in the works. I guess we’ll see).
UPDATE 6/22/05: An e-mail has just been sent to the infamous Ms. Barns. I guess we will have to wait to see what comes of this whole shenanagan.
UPDATE 6/28/05: I spoke with the head of the department at Brooks, and she told me that she would look into the situation further. She requested a detailed account of my experiences in dispute from my class. I will respond sometime during my vacation.

Ron-I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you. You truly are succeeding. I know that even though it has been hard at times you have pressed forward and accomplished all that you have because of your love and passion for photography. Remember that Heavenly Father has given you this gift to bless the lives of others. You have already blessed the life of your family so much in strenthening this talent of yours. Keep up the good work and always remember that Corinne and I love you and are so proud of you and the work that you are doing. Also, remember how much more Heavenly Father loves you and how happy he is that you are fulfilling your roles as husband and father and priesthood holder and that you are not hiding your talents. Keep up the good work.

Your grades are better then I ever got in school. I hated school. Respect you for going through with it and getting good grades at the same time.

Thanks, Wendell. Most people know that I don’t really think a school education is critical to advancement in this time in history, unless one feels that is the place where they can learn most efficiently. I decided Brooks was the opportunity that I needed in order to jump into the commercial market, and that decision so far (I feel) has paid off immensely. You are an excellent visual artist, and as such have quite a few opportunities sprout up from that alone. I respect you and your work as much as you could possibly respect letters on a page. No doubt about it. Thanks for stopping by. Why don’t you email me some of your latest pics? I’ll post a few here…You’ll get tons of exposure, like, at least 250 views per 2 months!
