So, you want a great recipe for a wonderful appetizer, but you want it for free. Ok, I’ll bite, but maybe you can reciprocate and provide a unique, tasty recipe of your own, right here on this page. Go ahead and take this recipe, but please, leave me and others something to tantalize our taste buds with…something unique and different to your family. And thanks for sharing.

Here it is, by popular request, the famous Marinated and Grilled Sodalicious Chicken Lettuce Wraps. This is a recipe we recently tested, kind of in tribute to the wonderful lettuce wraps we’ve had at P.F. Chang’s Chinese restaurant. Probably the best appetizer we’ve ever had, we thought we would try out our own version, and see what we could come up with. Although they do taste different, we ended up really enjoying the flavor of our own unique take on these wraps. Let us know if you have any suggestions, or what you thought of them when you tried it out. It’s best if you use a kitchen thermometer for this meal.

At the behest of my wife, I am officially putting in written form my wishes for our family’s Thanksgiving Meal. This is the “plan”, so to speak, and if this is what it takes to satisfy my love, then so be it.

Ok, let’s not dawdle. First, an overview, then the explanation of each item:

• Smoked Whole Turkey
• Sweet Potato Casserole
• Marinated and Grilled Sodalicious Chicken Lettuce Wraps
• Italian Roll Bread
• Senorial carbonated Sangria with Lime (non-alcoholic)

Smoked Whole Turkey:
I hadn’t had Smoked Turkey, sadly, until about 4 years ago. Even more dismal is the memory of the last 4 years without being able to enjoy the tender, smoked sweetness of that glorious meat since. I committed to enjoy the Smoked Turkey every year after that first glorious love affair 4 years ago, but sadly, that commitment fell by the wayside somewhere in between Christmas and Labor Day the following year. I forgot, and time passed, and here we are today, 4 years later, with only a faint memory of the awful goodness that was bestowed upon me at my dear sister’s house one Thanksgiving. Well, the commitment is revitalized today, and hope will prevail. We will have smoked turkey.
