This is one of the latest shots that I have taken in the studio. The assignment is to shoot a product on “black glass”, a type of glass that’s black. (If you didn’t come to this conclusion on your own before I explained to you the dynamic of black glass, you may want to re-assess your process of observance). Anyway, enough with the belittlement.

The first shot is that of a swiss army knife, and it is not on black glass, but the lid of an apple laptop. This was a test shot in my home, and will possibly make it to the surface of black glass before the session is out. It just depends on, well, lots of things.

The second shot is my new camera, the D2X. The shot was taken with Janese’s D70, and turned out fairly well, I would say. It was not the final shot, but it will have to suffice for now. I was pleased with the outcome, but would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions, either for praise or for improvement.
